We are a national staffing/labour-hire agency, specialising in events & marketing. We have been established for 11 years and while still a small business, we experience considerable growth year after year. Our workforce consists of 500 casual employees that we manage nationally. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to work with us on-going to help manage our current client portfolio.

About the Role

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm-ish.
  • The role would be based in Pyrmont 3 days per week and remote for the other 2 (or you could opt full-time from Pyrmont if preferred). You would also need to attend client meetings/site visits where required which could be anywhere in Sydney.
  • There is flexibility within the position regarding all the above, to some extent.
  • The start date of the role is flexible as we are looking for the right person for the role.

As an Account Manager you will:

  • Provide account management services to our new & existing clients from enquiry through to job completion.
  • Provide project management assistance for the clients that require it.
  • Complete ad-hoc duties and general admin that come with the general nature of the role.
  • Drive process changes and improving business efficiency in all areas of account management.

About You:

  • At least 2 years experience in an account management role
  • Previous experience dealing with large client accounts
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook & Google Docs
  • Extremely self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Extremely organised & efficient
  • Positive work ethic with a can-do attitude
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous demonstrated experience working remotely
  • Must be tech-savvy and able to learn new software
  • Ability to build professional relationships with clients
  • Must be able to follow processes to a T

Reporting

You will report to the Managing Director and you will be required to hit the ground running, take charge of the role and make it your own.
